Our Experience

Nestled along the Algarve coastline, Olhos d’Agua in Portugal is a charming seaside town offering a blend of tranquility and adventure. Here’s what we did and how you can make the most of a week in the Algarve!

Beach Bliss: Start your day with a leisurely stroll along Olhos d’Agua’s pristine beaches. Feel the soft sands beneath your feet and let the rhythmic sounds of the waves create a soothing soundtrack to your morning.

Villa Moura Walk: Embark on a picturesque walk down the beach to Villa Moura. The scenic route offers breathtaking views of the coastline, providing the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area.

Seafood Delights: Explore the seafood scene along the beach. Local eateries and seafood markets offer a diverse array of fresh catches, allowing you to savor the authentic flavors of Portuguese coastal cuisine.

Windmill Restaurant in Albufeira: My wonderful boyfriend treated me to dinner here for my 30th birthday.

Experience a touch of history and culinary delight at one of the windmill restaurants in nearby Albufeira. The combination of a unique setting and a carefully crafted three-course meal makes for an unforgettable dining experience.

Paragliding Boat Trip: For the thrill-seekers, indulge in a paragliding boat trip. Soar above the clear waters, taking in panoramic views of the coastline. It’s an exhilarating adventure that adds an exciting dimension to your Olhos d’Agua experience. Remember to take some photos and videos for fellow paragliders and they’ll do the same for you!

Explore Local Markets: Immerse yourself in the local culture by exploring the markets. From handmade crafts to fresh produce, these markets offer a glimpse into the daily life of the community and you can taste some incredible fruits and bread.

Relax at Beachside Cafés: Unwind at one of the beachside cafés. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a refreshing beer while basking in the sun and relishing the laid-back atmosphere.

Visit Falesia Beach: Take a short trip to Falesia Beach, known for its dramatic cliffs and golden sands. It’s a great spot for sunbathing, swimming, or simply admiring the stunning coastal scenery.

In Olhos d’Agua, each day unfolds like a postcard, inviting you to savor the simple pleasures of coastal living and creating memories that linger long after you’ve left this idyllic Portuguese retreat.
